BUILDINX 2026: Messe Dortmund and BVL extend cooperation

Early agreement ensures professional continuity and further profiling of the platform in the market for logistics and industrial real estate

Messe Dortmund will host BUILDINX – INNOVATIONS FOR LOGISTICS PROPERTIES from November 17 to 19, 2026, and will continue to rely on the German Logistics Association (BVL) as a professional partner. With the early extension of their cooperation, both sides are reaffirming the importance and future viability of the business platform, which brings together the entire value chain of innovative logistics and industrial real estate in Dortmund.

Dortmund, 08.01.2026 – Messe Dortmund and BVL have extended their cooperation for BUILDINX 2026 ahead of schedule, sending a clear signal for continuity and the further expansion of the business platform. “The early extension is a clear signal of trust and underlines the strategic importance of BUILDINX for both partners,” says Sabine Loos, Managing Director of the Westfalenhallen Group. “After a strong second year with increased visitor interest, a high level of satisfaction and numerous exhibitor commitments as well as re-bookings for 2026, the trade fair is a fixed meeting place for decision-makers from logistics, industry, trade and the real estate sector. Together with BVL, we are further sharpening the profile of BUILDINX as a platform for business, innovation and interdisciplinary dialog.”

The BVL Logistics Real Estate Group will continue to be largely responsible for the BUILDINX conference and meeting program. The content ranges from new construction, refurbishment and brownfield development to financing, defense and resilience topics, technical building solutions, data intelligence and sustainability.

Early stand space reservations and strong networks for 2026

The early timing of the extension also reflects the high level of exhibitor interest: shortly after BUILDINX 2025 closed, numerous companies along the entire real estate value chain secured their stand space for 2026. In the construction sector, these include Goldbeck, fabrikon, Harden Industriebau and Kratzert General-Bau as a new exhibitor.

The German Brownfield Association and Log.IT NRW are continuing their collaboration with Messe Dortmund and will continue to contribute their networks and specialist expertise to the platform in 2026.
