Dortmund, 17 July 2026 – International users, changing supply chains and new location strategies are shaping the European market for logistics and industrial property. In some cases, German property developers are seeing high regional demand from Asia, with a focus on northern Germany and North Rhine Westphalia in particular. Against this backdrop, Chinese companies and investors are also increasingly stepping into the limelight. The slot entitled ‘China: Unlocking EU Logistics Real Estate Opportunities’ at the BUILDINX on Wednesday, 18 November 2026, will be offering a concise overview of this complex topic. The partner for this session is the German-Chinese Business Association (DCW), which is contributing its vast expertise at the intersection between the German and Chinese economies. Property service provider JLL will also be assessing the prospects of the German industrial and logistics property market in a European context.
Trade visitors working with international users, investors or project associates will find space here for engaging and interacting, cultivating new business prospects and gaining practical insight. The target audience includes project developers, investors, industrial companies, logistics service providers, retailers, data centre operators, architects and planners, business development agencies, local authorities and other stakeholders along the value chain for logistics, industrial and data centre properties, with a focus on matters relating to market entry, site selection and successful project implementation. Participants will also gain an insight into the decision-making processes of international market players, learn more about relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and discover best practices for collaboration across national and cultural boundaries.
