BUILDINX 2026: Messe Dortmund and BVL extend collaboration
Timely agreement clinches expert continuity and increases forum visibility in the logistics and industrial real estate market
The Dortmund Exhibition Centre is to host the BUILDINX – INNOVATIONS FOR LOGISTICS PROPERTIES show between 17 and 19 November 2026, continuing their alliance with the German Federal Logistics Association (BVL) as its technical partner. In strengthening ties well ahead of time, both sides reaffirm the significance and future viability of the buyer-meets-seller forum, which brings the entire value chain of innovative logistics and industrial real estate together in Dortmund.zusammenbringt.
Dortmund, 12 January 2026 – The Dortmund Exhibition Centre and the German Federal Logistics Association have extended their partnership for the BUILDINX 2026 in good time, sending a strong message confirming continuity and ongoing expansion of the buyer-meets-seller forum. “This early extension is a sure sign of confidence underlining the strategic importance of the BUILDINX for both partners,” says Sabine Loos, Managing Director of the Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe which owns and operates the Messe Dortmund venue. “Following a strong second year with increasing visitor numbers, high satisfaction ratings, plentiful commitments from exhibitors, and rebookings for 2026, this trade fair has established a sound reputation as a key meeting point for decision-makers from the logistics, industrial, retail, and real estate sectors. Together with the BVL, we are further boosting the profile of the BUILDINX as a forum for business, innovation, and interdisciplinary dialogue.”
The BVL Logistics Property Working Group will also be presiding over the BUILDINX conference and convention programme in the future, with content ranging from new construction, refurbishment, and brownfield development to financing, matters of defence and resilience, technical building solutions, data intelligence, and sustainability.
“Extending this agreement ahead of time clearly confirms the steadily growing significance of the BUILDINX as a forum focused on logistics and industrial real estate,” emphasises
Christoph Meyer, Managing Director of BVL. “The eclectic mix of a programme packed with premium specialist content coupled with strong networking opportunities, and a highly specialized community creates a
truly unmatched exhibition format for the market and covers the entire real estate life cycle,” he continues.
Early stand space bookings and robust networks for 2026
Announcing this extension at such an early stage is also a reflection of heightened exhibitor interest: Shortly after the curtain fell on the BUILDINX 2025, a very healthy number of companies along the entire real estate value chain secured their stands for 2026. These include Goldbeck, fabrikon, and Harden Industriebau in the construction sector, with Kratzert General-Bau making its debut as a newcomer to the exhibition.
The Dortmund Exhibition Centre can also rely on the continued support of the
German Brownfield Association
and Log.IT NRW who remain on board, contributing their key networks and technical expertise to the forum once more in 2026.
All information, updates and developments concerning the show can be found at any time on the show's website, Instagram, LinkedIn and via newsletter.
